The Department of Medicine at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is seeking a Rheumatologist to join a collegial team of Internists and Medical Subspecialists, including two established Rheumatologists. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding practice within a supportive environment that values collaboration, high quality care, and work life balance.

RIH’s rheumatology service offers a diverse and engaging scope of practice, with a combination of inpatient consultation and outpatient case management in your own clinic. This role is ideal for a rheumatologist seeking a broad general practice with an interesting mix of cases - while still enjoying ample time to take advantage of the unparalleled lifestyle opportunities available right outside your door. Qualifications:
  • Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Doctorate in Medicine
  • Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
  • Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

Fee for Service: $400,000 - $450,000


Additional Incentives

Relocation reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada (with eligible detailed receipts)
