There is a population of approximately 35,000 in Williams Lake and surrounding areas with a total population of 62,000 for the Cariboo Regional District. Our Williams Lake ER team is looking for Emergency physicians to provide locum service to our busy ER while we recruit to fill our current vacancy.
CCFP, CCFP(EM) and FRCP Emergency Physicians are all invited to provide locum coverage.

Working in our ER, you will experience a broad range of interesting cases involving numerous procedures and you will be well supported by specialists in Internal Medicine, Ob/Gyn, General Surgery, Pediatrics and Psychiatry.

Cariboo Memorial Hospital:
Cariboo Memorial is under renovation with planned completion of 2026! The CMH redevelopment project includes an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility. The addition will add 25 in-patient beds for a total of 53, a new emergency department and mental-health unit.
Currently, CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake with 28 inpatient beds. CMH hospital offers ER, OR, Med-Surg, and Obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging and outpatient Hemodialysis Unit are operated on-site.
