Practice Details:

An established medical clinic in 100 Mile House is seeking a full time Physician to join their team. This is a perfect time to come and build a great practice in a welcoming community. The area is growing as more and more people move here from other areas of the province, and there are many people seeking a physician.

The clinic, located in the heart of town, has a large patient waiting area, staff parking, and many consulting rooms. A great office staff will help you settle in, and support your administrative needs.

In addition to clinic work, you would be required to provide service for approximately 6 twelve hour shifts per month at the 100 Mile Hospital emergency room, (located minutes from the clinic), as well as follow your own patients in hospital and residential care. Clinic colleagues cover each other’s patients when away. Currently, there is no anesthetist, and thus, obstetric services are offered in Williams Lake.

The hospital, in addition to ER, offers general medical and outpatient care, x-ray and laboratory services. All specialty services are available, some, 1 hr away in Williams Lake OR two hours away in Kamloops.

***immediate locum support also welcomed***

100 Mile House and the surrounding area offers a wide variety of lifestyle activities for all seasons including numerous hiking trails, mountain biking, lakes for swimming, boating, fishing. There is hunting, snow shoeing and XC skiing. Mt. Timothy ski hill is a very popular winter destination approximately an hour away. A card lock gym is a few minutes walk down the lane from the clinic, and if you’re hockey fans, there is a hockey arena (home of the 100 Mile Wranglers) as well as a curling rink. In summer, the 108 Resort boasts an excellent 18 hole golf course, and tennis courts. In addition, the town has a vibrant arts community, a performance theatre and an art gallery. There are numerous restaurants in and out of town, as well as several popular coffee shops, one of which is around the corner from the Clinic.

We would be pleased to have your join our practice, and welcome you to the community.
