Practice Details:

Family Practice opportunity in well-established 7 physicians clinic - to replace departing physician. In house x-ray. Outstanding treatment room for minor surgery. Excellent clinic staff. State-of-the-art EMR - office computerized since 1996. Interior of clinic fully re-decorated in 2014. Full service general practice - obstetrics available but not necessary. Minimal on-call requirements. Very efficient clinic - low office overhead costs. Successful candidate well be expected to obtain hospital privileges at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. EKRH has excellent consultant coverage in all core specialties.

Cranbrook is a small city of about 20,000 residents and serves as the regional centre for the East Kootenays - with a population of about 80,000.
Fabulous four-season outdoor recreation with the Rocky Mountains and several national parks in our backyard - skiing, hiking, fishing/hunting, boating to name a few.

Ideally, we are seeking a permanent physician but intermediate/long term locum will also be acceptable.

Qualifications:

• Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
• Doctorate in Medicine
• Eligible for licensure with CPSBC; Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory
