The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Emergency Room Physicians Group is currently seeking full-time emergency room physicians to join their team in 2022. Our ED sees approximately 50000 patient visits per year and encompasses a dynamic patient population reflective of our community's diversity. We are practicing in a new and spacious ER with fantastic support staff and excellent specialist services.
Full-time employment includes 12 shifts per month. Each member in our group also contributes to the non-clinical workload. Candidates must have CCFP-EM, or FRCPC. We are a cohesive group of active ERPs in a busy and varied community ED practice. Excellent local specialist services, a keen ED staff, access to tertiary care support, and a diverse patient population all make for a dynamic ED environment. As a group, we are actively involved in medical student and resident training, SIMS educational sessions, and journal club activities.
In addition to our interesting and busy ED, the North Okanagan offers amazing outdoor lifestyle opportunities that all members of our group actively participate in. Downhill skiing, nordic skiing, mountain biking, road riding, boating, paddling, and hiking are all situated in our backyard. Imagine going for a ski on our world class nordic trails, or ripping up the local mountain bike trails, prior to a shift!
