The Medical Imaging department at Royal Inland Hospital is a collaborative team of 8 radiologists and 1 nuclear medicine physician who provide services in x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound (GE), CT (Siemens Dual Source Flash x2), recently upgraded MRI (1.5T GE), digital mammography, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry and interventional. Our department is digital, utilizing McKesson PACS along with Fluency voice recognition dictation software. There is a one year track to full associate. We are excited to add a passionate and hardworking radiologist to our team at RIH. Fellowship training in interventional radiology would be an asset.

Qualifications:

• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
• Doctorate in Medicine
• Eligible for licensure with CPSBC Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

Hours of work: Full time
On call requirements: 1:8 (with afterhours tele-radiology support)

Diagnostics offered include a Clinical Neurophysiology Lab and Sleep Lab, MRI, two CT scans, and Echocardiography. RIH is the regional base for the High Acuity Response Team (HART) that transports critically ill patients throughout the region. Surgical services include General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
