Call Schedule:

Hours of work: We want you to love life in and outside work, and we're committed to helping you achieve that perfect balance.
On call requirements: With a 1:5 to 1:6 on-call rotation, including one weeknight and every 5th Saturday, you'll have plenty of time to relax and reset in between.

Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income

As a pediatrician in Vernon, you'll earn between $300,000-$400,000 when working full-time hours, thanks to the fee-for-service model and MOCAP level 1.


Additional Incentives

For a full-time position, we offer up to $9,000 in assistance if moving within BC, up to $12,000 within Canada, and up to $15,000 from outside Canada. Please note incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.

The hospital’s future looks even brighter with the planned construction of a 44 single-occupancy room psychiatric unit by 2029. Nearly 1,800 dedicated personnel cater to approximately 93,720 individuals, including those from the First Nations and Métis communities.
