Practice Details:
Join our team and enjoy the fluidity of working on-site or remotely, allowing for a well-balanced work-life arrangement. Experience the best of both worlds in this regional position, where you'll enjoy the variety of working on-site in Trail and rounding out your week in Nelson. Your invaluable skills will be utilized at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, Kootenay Lake Hospital, Castlegar District Hospital, Boundary Hospital, Slocan Community Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital.
We offer an extensive variety of sophisticated medical imaging services to enhance patient care and promote the well-being of the community. Our commitment to excellence is exemplified by our upcoming project to construct a cutting-edge MR suite, currently in the advanced planning phase. We also have two CTs located at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital and Kootenay Lake Hospital, along with four centres equipped for ultrasound imaging. With basic interventional radiology services, a dedicated diagnostic mammography centre, nuclear medicine capabilities, and bone densitometry, we provide thorough care to our patients. On call requirements:
After-hours on-call coverage for CT is expertly facilitated through reliable teleradiology services.
Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income
Anticipate an attractive estimated gross annual income based on a fee-for-service payment structure.
RSA Incentives
Recruitment incentive: $15,000
Relocation: $9,000 if moving within BC, $12,000 within Canada, and $15,000 from outside Canada.
Fee premium: 11.48%
Annual retention fee: $17,421
RCME funding: $600 for up to 2 years in Trail, $3,600 during your 3rd and 4th year, and $6,600 after 4 years, in addition to the Doctors of BC CME funds.
The above numbers are based on a full-time position and may be prorated for physicians working less than full time. Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
