Practice Details:

You will play an integral role in a collaborative and cohesive team of dedicated healthcare professionals, all driven by a shared passion for delivering the highest standard of care to our young patients. Our kindhearted and skilled nurses provide invaluable support, ensuring that every young patient receives the utmost comfort and attention during their stay. By collaborating with specialists from various fields, such as neonatology, cardiology, and oncology, we approach complex cases with a multidisciplinary perspective, delivering holistic care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

This job posting is for a position covered by the Provincial Health Officer’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccination order, and selected applicant(s) must comply with the requirements of the order.

Qualifications:
  • Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Doctorate in Medicine
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS)
  • Licensure, or eligible for licensure, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC); and mandatory coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association. If you’re a US-trained physician with ABMS certification in pediatrics, you may be eligible to practice medicine in British Columbia under the USA certified class.
Call Schedule:

Hours of work: The opportunity for part-time or full-time practice awaits.
On call requirements: An average of 6 to 10 days per month, tailored to your preference.

Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income

Anticipate an estimated gross annual income ranging from $250,000 to $400,000, determined by a fee-for-service payment structure plus MOCAP level 1.


RSA Incentives

Recruitment incentive: $15,000*
Relocation: determined by your current location, the relocation allowance ranges from $9,000 to $15,000
Fee Premium: 11.34%
Annual retention fee: $17,209
RCME funding: up to 2 years $600, in 3rd & 4th year $3,600, after 4 years $6,600
