We have an exciting opportunity for a rural Family Practice Physician in Williams Lake, B.C.
We invite you to practice rural family medicine in our new Primary Care Network Clinic (“PCN Clinic”) opening soon. The PCN Clinic will also house a multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health Resources including Mental Health Substance Use Clinician, Dietician, Respiratory Therapist, Clinical Pharmacist, Occupational Therapist and Registered Nurse. In addition to your clinical work, there are numerous opportunities to build the practice of your dreams which could include maternity, long term care, oncology, palliative care, ER, and other areas of interest. The team support from the local surgeons, obstetricians, paediatrician, internist, and psychiatrist is outstanding.
You can end your work day by grabbing Sushi or Indian take-out and head out with your kayak or paddle board and enjoy one of the nearby lakes. The region is exquisitely beautiful and widely diverse. Recruitment bonus: $15,000
Relocation: $9,000 - $15,000 based on move location

Rural CME: max of $4,840.00 /year after 4 years in practice
Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer.

Cariboo Memorial Hospital:
Cariboo Memorial is “Under Construction” with planned completion of 2026! The CMH redevelopment project includes and an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility. The addition will add 25 in-patient beds for a total of 53, a new emergency department, mental-health unit and cancer department. NEW (July’23) Maternity Clinic – dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to expectant mother in the Cariboo region.
Currently, CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake with 28 inpatient beds. CMH hospital offers ER, ICU, OR, med-surg, cardiology unit and obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging on site; outpatient hemodialysis unit operated on-site. Residential beds are embedded within med-surg unit on second floor of hospital.
Deni House is adjacent to CMH, embodies a resident centered philosophy designed to help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life. Deni House has 13 private and 5 3-bed rooms. Nine of the beds are designated as short stay including 2 palliative beds, and ALCP’s (2beds).
