If you're a general radiologist who values a well-rounded practice in a supportive, community-focused setting with endless lifestyle opportunities, Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake is ready to welcome you.

Here, you’ll have access to a wide range of advanced medical imaging services designed to enhance patient care and support community well-being. Our facility features a CT scanner, ultrasound imaging, basic interventional radiology services, and a dedicated diagnostic mammography unit. You’ll work with the latest technology and resources to deliver high-quality imaging services.

The CMH redevelopment project is well underway. By the end of 2026, we'll have an expanded emergency department with 23 treatment spaces, a medical-surgical inpatient unit with 36 beds, and a mental health unit featuring 8 single-occupancy rooms. As the project moves toward completion in 2029, enhancements across the hospital will include an upgraded maternity and women's health unit, expanded oncology and ambulatory care services, and a new academic space for the UBC Faculty of Medicine.

RSA Incentives

Recruitment incentive: $15,000, prorated for physicians working less than full time.
Relocation: $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada.
Fee premium: 12.32%
Annual retention fee: $19,092.48
RCME funding: $600 for up to 2 years in the community, $3,600 during your 3rd and 4th year, and $6,600 after 4 years, in addition to the Doctors of BC CME funds.

Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.


Cariboo Memorial Hospital:

Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) is under renovation with planned completion in 2029! Currently, CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake, with 28 inpatient beds. At CMH, we offer a broad spectrum of services, including emergency medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, anesthesia, and hospitalist services. Laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, and outpatient hemodialysis units are available on-site.
