Come join the collegial Emergency team in Grand Forks! In this rural community, we see a broad range of interesting cases involving numerous procedures and we are well supported by specialists working at regional hospitals in Trail and Kelowna. Emergency experience would be an asset but we have the capacity to mentor new Canadian or International graduates. Grand Forks is set among sprawling hills, up against mountains on the Canadian border, and with a shady river running through the town, park and campsite. Here you would find a combination of ambient small town charm and urban convenience. Grand Forks is an engaging, easygoing community and very close to the popular Christina Lake for summer sport enthusiasts.

RSA Incentives
Rural Incentives include:
Recruitment bonus: $20,000
Relocation: $9,000 - $15,000 based on move location
Fee Premium: 18.62%
Annual Retention: $28,855.68
Rural CME: max of $5,720/year after 4 years in practice

Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
Boundary Hospital:
Boundary Hospital is a Level I Community Hospital with 12 beds and the 24/7 emergency room. The closest major medical centre is a transfer to Kelowna (231 km's) or to a regional hospital in Trail (~100 km)
