Practice Details:
We are seeking an anesthesiologist to join the team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH).
Our group consists of 11 anesthesiologists and 3 anesthesia assistants, performing more than 8,000 surgeries a year. Your role will involve providing anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures, including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and urology.
Our operating rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, providing uniformity and precision in every procedure. This includes high-quality ultrasound equipment for accurate catheter placements and nerve blocks.
Additionally, you will have opportunities for professional development and mentorship. Through our NAVIG8 Emerging Physician Leaders Program, you will be able to help shape the next generation of medical professionals and foster leadership skills in up-and-coming physicians.
You will also have the opportunity to teach medical students as they rotate through the anesthesia department as part of their core medical education.

Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income
Anticipate an estimated gross annual income ranging from $450,000 to $500,000, determined by a fee-for-service payment structure and MOCAP level 1.
Additional Incentives
For a full-time position, we offer $9,000 in assistance if moving within BC, $12,000 within Canada, and $15,000 from outside Canada. Please note incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
