Practice Details:

Join Interior Health’s ophthalmology team in vibrant Trail, British Columbia! This role offers a dynamic blend of comprehensive in-office care and advanced surgical procedures, including high-volume cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, SLT, Yag, and Argon laser treatments for retinal tears.

We have a State-of-the-Art Facility ready to accommodate your needs: Practice with cutting-edge equipment like IOL Master 700, Humphrey Visual Field, Cirrus OCT, Forum, Canon Camera, and multiple slit lamp lanes. (Zeiss & Haag Streit.)

  • Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
  • Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
  • Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

RSA Incentives

Relocation reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada.

Rural Incentives include:
Recruitment bonus: $15,000
Fee Premium: 11.48 %
Annual Retention: $17,790.72
Rural CME: max of $6.600/year after 4 years in practice
