Practice Details:

Williams Lake’s Maternity Clinic is a unique and rewarding opportunity for a Family Physician passionate about maternity care. Located within Cariboo Memorial Hospital, the clinic offers seamless access to obstetrician support, lab services, and both hospital-based and in-clinic ultrasounds, creating an integrated and supportive environment for both providers and patients.

With full scope maternity care available, this role allows physicians to practice both low- and high-risk obstetrics, supported by onsite obstetricians as needed. Convenient access to lab services, ultrasound, and an in-clinic ultrasound ensures comprehensive care for patients in one location.

Qualifications:
  • Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
  • Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
  • Doctorate in Medicine
  • Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

RSA Incentives

Rural Incentives include:
Recruitment bonus: $15,000
Relocation: $9,000 - $15,000 based on move location
Fee Premium: 12.32%
Annual Retention: $19,092.48
Rural CME: max of $ 4,840/year after 4 years in practice

Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer.
Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
