Join the collaborative team at Kootenay Lake Hospital (KLH) Emergency Department in beautiful Nelson, BC

-Supportive, collegial group of Emergency Physicians, including those balancing EM with other clinical roles.
-Flexible Scheduling and FTE options (5–12 shifts per month) to support work-life balance and individual practice preferences.
-Work the way you want; Additional community roles available to complement your ED work
-Busy rural Emergency Department seeing 40–60 patients per day.
-Open to CCFP-EM or CCFP physicians with a strong interest in Emergency Medicine.

• On-call Obstetrics & Gynecology


• In-house Pediatrics

-Mostly single-provider coverage, with overlap during peak times

Qualifications:

• Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
• Doctorate in Medicine
• Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
• Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory
• ACLS & PALS recommended, but not mandatory.

Hours of work: 3-4 shifts per day, flexibility amongst the group
