Practice Details:

At Vernon Jubilee Hospital you will have the opportunity and resources to make a difference in patients' lives. The hospital has cutting-edge technology such as the 1.5T Siemens SOLA MRI and two CT scanners, including a Canon unit and the latest Siemens technology. Our procedures focus on biopsies and drainages, letting you sharpen your hands-on techniques. You will have all you need to provide accurate diagnoses quickly. The local radiologist-owned clinic performs X-ray, ultrasound, and bone mineral density examinations. Other modalities at VJH include x-ray, ultrasound, diagnostic and screening mammography.

Qualifications:
  • Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
  • Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory
  • Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
Call Schedule:

Hours of work: Full time. Part time or locum also considered.
On call requirements: After-hours on-call coverage for CT and ultrasound is currently provided through teleradiology services.

Compensation:

FFS payment model, total earnings amongst the highest in comparison with other BC Radiology groups + MOCAP Level 2


RSA Incentives

Relocation reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada (with eligible detailed receipts)
