Penticton's newest walk-in clinic is currently offering a permanent 0.55 FTE position.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive episodic and longitudinal primary care within a team-based environment. Physicians will work collaboratively with other clinic providers and staff to support accessible, efficient, and compassionate care for the Penticton community and surrounding South Okanagan region.

  • Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
  • Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
  • Certificant of College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)
  • Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

The Community Walk in Clinic has a pooled FFS billing model and pays an hourly rate of $190/hour for direct patient care, and $130/hour for indirect patient care.

Join Penticton’s newest walk-in clinic and become part of a collaborative, patient-focused primary care team. With more than 42 physicians already signed up for clinic shifts, the Colleen Schneider Medical Centre Walk-In Clinic is expanding and seeking a Family Physician to contribute to the delivery of high-quality acute care services for both attached and unattached patients.

The clinic is supported administratively by the South Okanagan Similkameen Healthcare Society, allowing physicians and nurse practitioners to focus on patient care rather than clinic operations.
