Nakusp is seeking a permanent Family Physician for a general rural practice. The successful candidate will work with a private clinic group at the Saddle Mountain Medical Clinic. There is a strong collegial support between physicians that allows for work/life balance. Physicians share after-hour coverage through an on-call schedule, working approximately 1:5 schedule. The call demands are very reasonable and it is rare to be called in after 10 p.m. The office is modern with an excellent, friendly staff, including a Social Worker, a Diabetic Nurse and a Physiotherapist. Our EMR is Wolf Telus. Our community 24/7 ED just got a $2M upgrade, and public health services are available locally. There's also a well-run Long-Term Care facility in town. A turn key practice is ready for you. Please inquire for your opportunity to practice rural medicine in an outstanding setting.
